Japanese Kimono Fabrics

Japanese silks, wools and cottons, mostly designed for kimono. The selection will vary, so check back often as we sell and buy constantly and many of these are one of a kind. Most are several decades old but in excellent condition.

Japan has always created some of the most incredible fabrics in the world. We usually have a variety of colors, weaves, and types of prints, from traditional to unusual. Find your treasure!

Care: your dry cleaner may be the best resource, although many people have success hand washing in cold water and very mild shampoo, after testing a small piece first. However, chirimen weaves are prone to shrinking and color bleeding, so consider dry cleaning those.
