Blue and black cross woven silk blended to create deep midnight. Lots of fine black silk and black slubs; the result is a gorgeous deep midnight blue, not absolutely what we'd call navy. Soft, with a bit of body, luxurious, lustrous, medium weight pure silk. Very little drape and a bit of sheen but not truly shiny. Back and front are just the same. The labels indicate Handwoven Yuki Pongee Tsumugi 100% Silk. It can be hard to find these solid blue-blacks, and this one is truly stunning.

15.5" wide. Sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used, excellent condition bolt. Japan.
