Liquid drape chirimen is probably Tange Chirimen; it has exceptional lustre and suppleness, with just a hint of crepe texture and satin weave on the front. There are blended, curving iridescent stripes through the length - possibly hand painted bokashi or a similar technique. The curved 'stripes' are pale purple and gold. The blend makes the jacquard satin confetti bits and groups of speckles glow even more. Feather-light and flowy, and flowy. We only have this one piece. It's actually 72" long with plain terracotta color 5" borders top and bottom. 100% Silk. Japan
