Heavy Thick Shiny Turquoise Lotus Flowers Jacquard, Vintage Kimono Obi Fabric from Japan By the Half Yard #269

Pure silk, very thick, ribbed, stiff and heavy, designed for obi.  The flowers are throughout the bolt - there are lots of them. Ten per half yard. They were created in the jacquard weave which is heavily ribbed in the background and different but similar, sometimes flatter, in the flowers.  The back side, like with most jacquards, is the opposite in terms of shine and weave; so it's similar but not as intense. We see this color as deep turquoise or blue-teal, not at all navy.  High shine silk, 11" wide, in perfect condition. Sold by the half yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the 4 yard bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
