Thin and mid-weight, a bit crisp, heavier than most kimono silk, with body, a little shine, and no drape. Softly textured from the various thicknesses of silk threads - not totally smooth. It's all done in the weave and must have been very time consuming. Probably technically an ikat, it's also art in our opinion. 14" wide and sold by the full yard.
