Heavier than our rayon challis from India, almost quilting cotton weight, and not as drapey or supple. This rayon has some drape but also some body. Would be great for pants, shorts, dresses, somewhat structured/somewhat flowy garments, beds, curtains, pillows. It's woven not knit, so it doesn't stretch. It's quite easy to sew, breathable, easy to care for and takes colors beautifully. 100% Rayon. India. 42/44" Wide.

Sold by the full yard and we'll cut your order in a continuous piece from the bolt.

Cool wash and machine dry low, or air dry. Pre-treat before sewing - almost all rayon shrinks quite a bit. If you don't over-dry it, usually rayon challis comes from the dryer unwrinkled, newly fluffed and ready to wear.
