Wild Iris Meadow Vintage Kimono Silk Chirimen Crepe Print from Japan, Four Skinny Smaller Pieces Item #236

The stems are two grays, and the tiny random iris blooms are red, yellow, pink and a few white. We see the background as cool off-white/ecru. The art has a watercolor look. This silk is thin and light, with a subtle classic chirimen pebbly texture. It has a dry hand and no shine at all. It has drape but in our opinion not liquid drape.  These are pieces recycled from a decades-old kimono from Japan. Excellent condition. 100% Silk. Japan. 

There are four pieces for $15.00. Two are 4" x 38", and two are 4" x 21".  On these pieces there are no selvedges; all the edges are cut. These exact pieces are shown in the last 2 photos, and their full widths but not their full lengths in the first two..
