Solid Black/Darkest Blue-Black Kimono Silk Crepe from Japan 14" x 5 Yard PIECE #461

Rich black-blue - you may see pure black, but in other lighting it may look a bit towards very dark blueish-black. Mid-weight kimono silk crepe from Japan. It's drapey, but not liquid drape; there's also slight body. We'd say medium drape and somewhat supple. The fine crepe weave creates softly textured rivulets running with the length. It has no shine and a dry hand. Vintage, but in excellent condition. (As with any old fabric there may be minor imperfections that we missed).  We have two five yard pieces; buy one or both.  100% Silk. Japan.
