True black, purple, and touches of off-white combine in this hand dyed shibori, inspired by the the artist's vision of desert winds moving the sand. Finely woven, thin and light, less than 3 ounces per 42" wide yard. It's a bit drapey, and a little see-through, with a slight sheen and no slubs. In India this cotton/silk is often made into sarees, shawls, and scarves. It would also be wonderful for windows and beds, linings, all types of apparel and accessories. Limited supply one of a kind, hand dyed artisan fabric. Rajasthan, India. Dry clean.

Silk/Cotton, probably 50/50, 42" wide 39" long.

We'll try to get more but we think this was a one of a kind shibori.
