Persimmon x Indigo = Brown Artisan Mid-Weight Cotton from Japan 38" Wide, By the Half Yard # NS-43

Only 13 left!

True indigo-dyed cotton is the weft, and persimmon-dyed cotton is the warp. The yarns are of varying thicknesses, slubby and textured, especially the indigo. This cotton is lusciously soft and supple; maybe like a high-end, naturally dyed Japanese version of what in the US would be called chambray.  As the light changes, you'll see indigo or golden brown  highlights and shadows. Opaque, thin, tightly woven, its weight is similar to quilting cotton. Order "1" per HALF yard and yours will be in one piece. 38" wide, 100% Cotton. Newly woven, not vintage. Japan. Exceptional.

Wash by itself; color may run especially at first. Cool water, hang to dry. Or test a piece in the machine(s) to check shrinkage and changes; you may love the result.
