Navy Feather-Arrow Ikat, Cotton Handloom from India, By the Yard #TK-49

100% cotton, true double ikat in navy, light blue, and white. The blue is dark; the warp is black. Feather-Arrows are about 6" long, and the design is similar to but not the same as the Hot Pink. The fabric is the same as Hot Pink and a few others we have: much lighter in weight than quilting cotton, about 4 ounces per 44" wide yard, hand loomed and more drapey and supple than quilting cotton. Almost as light as what we call voile, it's lusciously soft and slightly see-through. There may be a few charming inconsistencies and none of the ikat elements will exactly match since this is a true hand woven ikat. Both sides are just the same. Use for shirts, quilts, table linens, pillows, window coverings, ponchos, dresses, scarves, warm weather clothing, shorts, nightwear, etc.

This ikat was woven in the Bhoodan-Pochampally area of Telangana, India, whose weavers are known for ikats with intricate geometric patterns, vibrant colors, and durability.

100% Cotton, 44/45" wide and sold by the full yard. Your piece will be continuous.

Gently hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid bleach. Avoid soaking for too long. Colors may bleed when washed for the first time. Hang to dry. We machine wash and dry ours with no issues; they shrink at first and get even softer with time.
