Teal/Black Blur, Cotton, Hand-Dyed MulMul from India, By the Yard #TK-40
Mid-light weight 100% cotton sheeting, true hand dyed in a technique possibly similar to shibori tie-dye. (Wish we could talk to the weaver to find out.) Tightly woven, smooth, soft cotton. Not as light as what we call voile, or Liberty Tana Lawn, but lighter than quilting cotton and softer than most. The weavers call it mulmul. It would be heavenly as a shirt, robe, dress, nightwear. True white and darkest greens and blues, blending to black and nearly-black greenish blues. One yard 43" wide weighs less than 3 ounces. 100% Cotton, 43" wide and sold by the full yard. Limited supply one of a kind hand dyed shibori, with no exact repeat and no two areas exactly matching. Artisan.
Gently hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid bleach. Avoid soaking for too long. Colors may bleed when washed for the first time. Hang to dry.
