Another by the same group of artisans in India. In this one, the indigo color drifts into the white diamonds quite often, creating interesting lighter blue patterns, and no two diamonds will match in size, shape, distance from the others, or color. Some of the shibori stripes are a bit wavy; in some areas they are more straight. The shibori artists have taken inspiration from their nearby deserts, where the wind creates wavy patterns in the sand.  Finely woven, thin and light, less than 3 ounces per 42" wide yard. It's only slightly drapey, and a little see-through, with no sheen and no slubs. In India this cotton/silk is often made into sarees, shawls, and scarves.  It would also be wonderful for windows and beds, linings, all types of apparel and accessories. Limited supply one of a kind, hand dyed artisan fabric.  Rajasthan, India.  Dry clean.

Silk/Cotton, probably 50/50, 42" wide and sold by the full yard. Your piece will be continuous.
