Bright Floral on Blues, Kimono Wool Blend? from Japan By the Yard # #254

Thin and light, with a bit of body and almost no drape, the colors are vivid and strong, and the back looks the same. The base fabric is woven with areas of textured jacquard, adding depth to the lush floral.  We think it's either all wool or a blend with a little silk or nylon.  It has a bit of 'wooliness' - not sleek or soft to the touch. 14" wide and sold by the full yard; yours will be one piece.  Age unknown; probably vintage.  Japan.
