Rusted Iron, flat, black/dark gray edges, with a small hole so it could be worn as a pendant. Or it could be a sew-down embellishment, or hang. About 2.75" x 2" and about 1/8" thick. They're strong and don't bend. They can face either direction; both sides are about the same. Handmade in Colorado where they were rusted naturally outside. On sale for $5.75
