Bright orange rust, mid-light weight, thin and a bit crisp, with body, this silk has every color of the rainbow plus black and vivid rust. Very slubby, textured and complex. No shine, no drape, no sleekness. In Japan they sometimes call this type of weave Kasuri Stripe. One yard only weighs 2 ounces but it looks heavier. This silk is in perfect condition from the carefully stored, never used, vintage bolt. Looks like homespun. 100% Silk. Japan.
