Red-brick tones with cross-woven whites, combining to create a faded, muted brick red look. This silk is thin and mid-weight, with a bit of body, a very textured, slubby surface, and no drape. Its natural silky sheen, layers of texture, thicker and thinner yarns, and your lighting may bring out warmer or cooler tones of muted brick red.  Both sides are the same. The colors are even and consistent - if it looks like there is discoloration, fading or gray areas, that's just where the complex texture has confused the camera; our apologies. This silk is just like a hand woven, hand dyed raw silk Tsumugi but there are no labels. 14" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition, carefully stored, never-used vintage bolt. 100% Silk.
