Most of these Freshwater Shell buttons are true white. Some include a bonus streak, blur or spot of natural browny-peachy-taupey shell color as you can see, sometimes just on one side (with the other side white). They are about 1/16" thick and the hole is about 1.5mm. Just enough of the natural shell's glow comes through to create a lovely sheen and iridescence. (Clearly these are not plastic buttons!) None are grayish or greenish; that's a photography/lighting/iridescence issue. They are white. Satiny, thick, durable, smooth and a bit shiny. Some may be a bit rustic. You'll get at least 75-80 buttons, for $7.25. 3/8" - small.
