Real ochre, true shibori in the off-white lines that enclose the pink shibori areas. This is a hand-dyed, very drapey and supple quite old silk crepe. The lighter yellow areas were hand drawn in rice paste resist, before the ochre dye bath. Thin and light silk with a quite prominent chirimen crepe texture, very supple, flowy and drapey. No shine at all. Everything about it is a work of art. 14" wide. Sold by the full yard, and we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, never used bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
