Meadow Near Mt. Fuji Vintage Kimono Silk 6.5" x 82" #4624

Clusters of wild bamboo, meadow flowers, grasses and foliage, in greens, golds, olive and yellow greens, with splashes of orange, white and lilac. This silk is lightweight, flowy, supple and drapey, with no shine. The back is mostly white; the print barely shows. It is a crepe, similar to a Tango chirimen with a subtle crepe texture, quite smooth for crepe. These pieces were formerly part of a kimono and are in excellent condition. 100% silk from Japan.
