They look like Western pearl snaps, but they're actually shank-back, sew-on, very lightweight, possibly all plastic, buttons. Glowing, lustrous pearly inset is not true pearl shell or glass, they seem like some type of resin or acrylic? Silver-color metal or metal-look rim, backing and shank. Shank opening is around 2mm. Pack of 18 sew-on buttons for $6.00
