This rayon challis is lightweight, soft and drapey, cool to the touch with a matte finish, for loose, flowy warm weather apparel. It's hand-dyed by a fabric artisan in India, so there is no repeat. Perfect for blouses, dresses, tops, skirts, pants, shorts, robes, pj's, shirts, beach wraps, summer pillow cases, shawls, scarves, drapey ponchos. Rayon challis is woven not knit, so it doesn't stretch. It's quite easy to sew, breathable, easy to care for and takes colors beautifully. Bright greens and blues. Beautiful! 100% Rayon. India. 42/44" Wide.

Cool wash and machine dry low, or air dry. Pre-treat before sewing - almost all rayon shrinks quite a bit. If you don't over-dry it, usually rayon challis comes from the dryer unwrinkled, newly fluffed and ready to wear.
