Beautiful velvet matte finish, true rich black, high quality 2-hole button. Quite large; not quite 1-1/8" diameter, and almost 1/16" thick. The shell and the black color create a lustre that is almost like suede. Some have more 'natural personality' than others; many aren't exactly, unnaturally perfect but that's what makes them beautiful in our opinion... they're way nicer than plastic. Velvety, not shiny. The backs are mottled black shell.
