Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan, Red-Orange Fancy Skinny Stripes By the Yard, #363

Stripes, some with embroidered-like/jacquard designs, in bright red chile and gold tones, with tiny bits of black and blue. This silk is yarn-dyed and both sides look the same. It's heavy for kimono silk; crisp and strong, with body. No shine at all, quite smooth and soft. This is a never used, vintage bolt designed for a kimono, in excellent condition. The colors are perfectly strong, consistent and vivid; if any photos show gray or washed out areas it's a photography / lighting problem only.  14" wide and sold  by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one continuous piece from the bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
