Great detail, in antique silver color pewter with slight sheen. Shank opening is around 2mm. Handcrafted in Vermont by Danforth Pewter, from lead-free pewter, an alloy of tin, copper and antimony. Sold per button. I wonder if the way they worded the makers mark, instead of Made In Vermont, will make this button more collectible someday, and if there's a story there?
