These are pieces from a de-constructed old kimono from Japan. Pure silk with liquid drape, lightweight, supple and flowy. The base jacquard adds dimension, sheen and light-play. The large print is off-white, a couple of grays, metallic gold, bright yellow and bright orange. We think the gray, young tree(?) images were hand painted; we don't see two that exactly match. This silk has a feeling of being possibly older than vintage. The crepe texture is subtle. Repeat is 30.5". 100% Silk. Japan.
