Pale butter / creamy golden beige background, two rows ofikat green stripes through the length, and black, indigo and orange ikat designs on each side of them. Quite thin and light, soft and supple; lighter than most ikat kimono silks from Japan; lighter than most quilting cotton. A true ikat, both sides are just the same. Great selvedges. Wonderfully soft, touchable, lush hand. Most likely hand woven. Excellent condition, never used vintage 100% Silk Japan.
