Last Piece, Abstract Turquoise Green Crystal Leaves, Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan, 13" x 63" #4334

Shades of greens and turquoise, off-white and yellow in a design that we believe was dyed by hand. Organic and alive, this lightweight, liquid drape silk is supple, smooth, soft and flowy. It has a bit of glisten from the base jacquard which is a grid design. On the back, the colors are intense and dark, per the last photo. This silk had a former life as part of a kimono in Japan; it was taken apart stitch by stitch for us and has some very tiny selvedge notches. Otherwise in pristine condition.  100% Silk. Japan.
