Cherry Red with Large Bright Flowers Obi Silk 4.8 Yard BOLT, Heavy Thick Vintage Embroidery from Japan, #275

Most of the bolt is solid vibrant cherry red, with the large embroidered flowers in two areas. One of them has one yellow and one green blossom, and a red maple leaf. The other has two smaller yellow blossoms (mums?) and two green/multi maple leaves, and a strip of lighter red or fading; see last photo with chopstick. This silk has a matte finish and is quite stiff, thick and heavy (for silk). It's 12" wide. The first 62" of the length is solid red, then the first embroidered flower design for 9". Then 26" of solid red, then another designed area for 10".  Then solid red for 66" to the end of the bolt. This is for the entire piece, 12" wide and 173" long or 4.8 yards. It's in quite good condition: the original tag is still attached.  Crisp, not shiny, thick obi fabric, probably many decades old, never made into obi, from Japan. 100% Silk.
