Vintage Gold Silk from Japan, 14" x 4 yard Piece OUTLET Item: Spots #237

Lightweight, smooth and supple fabric probably meant for a kimono lining, it is 14" wide, flowy and drapey and soft with lustre and a slight sheen. It seemed like the packaging had been intact for decades, and as we removed it, we started noticing two things; it has a subtle pinky rose cast in certain lights, adding a beautiful depth. And, that there are spots. They look like water spots but we're just guessing. You can see them in almost every photo; they are throughout the 4 yard piece. We have no idea if they'll come out.  Hence the as is, outlet situation. The glowing gold color is stupendous, and it's so light it only weighs an ounce per 14" wide yard. Order "1" for the 4 yard piece. It came to us folded as you can see from the fold lines, but we'll roll it on a vintage Japanese fabric roll for you. 100% Silk. Japan.
