Mid-light weight, thin and a bit crisp, with body, this silk has every color of the rainbow plus black and rust. Slubs, complexity and texture. No shine, no drape, no sleekness. In Japan they sometimes refer to this type of weave as "Kasuri Stripe". One yard only weighs 2 ounces but it looks heavier. This silk is in perfect condition from the carefully stored, never used, vintage bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
