Smooth, and soft, light and thin, pure silk in a stunning stripe with tiny white wavy lines, through the bolt. Inside the plumper areas made by the waves, the weaver added dark reddish wine, making this silk exquisite. It's almost crisp and not quite drapey. No shine. A bit supple. Label certifies 'pure silk pongee weave Tsumugi'. The reverse is similar but the white lines aren't quite as crisp. 14" wide, sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the beautiful condition bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
