80% Cotton/20% Linen from Linnea/Kokka Japan, mid-weight canvas. Large black and pink flowers on a base of natural off-white/taupe linen with subtle brown flecks. Heavier and more durable than quilting cotton or our Echino Lightweight Canvas. Opaque, strong and stable, for bags, home dec, pillow covers, structured garments and accessories. (Too heavy for kimono). Weighs about 9 ounces per 44" yard. From Kokka Japan, their Linnea line.

Pre-washing and ironing before sewing will often give better results, and inform how to care for the item after it's sewn. Your fabric may shrink and some darker colors may transfer when fabrics are wet. Machine drying or dry cleaning are not recommended.

Press using low-medium setting on the reverse side of the fabric. You can also place another piece of fabric in between when ironing.

If you wash your fabrics in a washing machine, we recommend zigzagging the edges first or using a mesh laundry bag to prevent fraying. Wash in cold water on the delicate setting.
