Green Leaves Painterly Abstract Chirimen Crepe Kimono Silk 14" x 44" # 3976

Liquid drape and exquisite crepe texture, many greens from dark to light, all strong and rich. Golds, oranges, browns and white. This silk was probably hand painted; the colors blend beautifully and the colors are strong. Very supply, flowy, drapey, no shine, dry hand.  Chirimen Crepe vintage silk was once part of a kimono and is in perfect condition but there are small notches on each selvedge; so they are on both edges of the 14" wide pieces and one side of the 6.6" wide pieces.
