The rust color glows from almost bright to quite darkened with browns and olives, softly blending through the piece.  The jacquard is a strong focal point of this silk: rows of undulating small connected circles, like curvy, clustered strings of pearls. It is consistent throughout the silk; thousands of them. They create life and movement in this supple, soft silk. The print over the jacquard seems like tiled medallions. Pure silk in perfect condition from its former life as a kimono. Japan.
