Bright Deep Orange Silk from Japan, 14" x 4+? yards, Still-Tied "Bolt" of Kimono Lining Fabric #104

Mid-lightweight, smooth and soft fabric probably meant for a kimono lining, it is 14" wide, with bit of sheen and slight crispness. It's never been opened, including by us, but from what we can tell it's not supple, flowy or drapey. The labels read 100% Silk. These bolts are usually 3.9 meters (4.25 yards) and in counting the folds that seems correct to us, but we haven't opened or measured. It looks to be new and in pristine condition. It's 'sewn' with fine white thread. Saturated orange towards red. Order "1" for the piece which weighs 4.6 ounces and measures about 15" x 4" x 3/8", tied. Beautiful fringe on the end. 100% Silk. Japan.
