Black on Black Hidden Roses Jacquard Drapey Kimono Silk Crepe from Japan, 11 yard BOLT #120

Camellias (or roses?) in detailed, complex, embroidery-like jacquard woven into the silk, in five areas through the bolt, some on the selvedges, so that they'd show up in just the right place on the body in the finished kimono. Black on black, so they are subtle but look closely; they're beautiful. There's one large arrangement 20" long, and the rest are smaller; photos show each of them. They may be in the center of the width or on either side. They're more or less visible depending on the light, but are subtle; especially the smaller ones.  There are two 3/4"  'kamon' circles with fine silver embroidered family crests. One is just 5" from the large 20" flower feature; see the purple photo (we turned it purple to show the design better than black on black. This area is near one end of the bolt).  Luxurious, flowy, mid-lightweight, smooth, sleek crepe, true black, high end, beautiful condition.  Vintage, 14" wide, and inch shy of 11 yards long. 100% Silk.
