Birds on Navy from Echino Japan, Linen/Cotton Lightweight Canvas 43" Wide By the Yard

Tiny red and gray birds alight on strings of off-white dots. Background is navy. This print, called Birds to Hang, is by Etsuko Furuya for Echino, Japan.  It's mid-weight, heavier than most quilting cotton, with a linen texture, opaque and stable. Weighs almost 8.5 ounces per 43"-wide yard. Use for aprons, bags, structured garments, lightweight home dec, pillow covers, etc. 

 Cotton 45%, Linen 55%.  Width 43".  Japan.  New, not vintage. 

 Limited Supply and sold by the full yard. Minimum order is 1 yard. Your piece will be continuous.  

Pre-washing and ironing before sewing will often give better results and inform how to care for the item after it's sewn. Your fabric may shrink and some darker colors may transfer when fabrics are wet. . Machine drying or dry cleaning are not recommended. 

• Press using low-medium setting on the reverse side of the fabric. You can also place another piece of fabric in between when ironing.  
• If you wash your fabrics in a washing machine, we recommend zigzagging the edges first or using a mesh laundry bag to prevent fraying. Wash in cold water on the delicate setting.
