5/16" in diameter, which is a little over 1/4". Tiny, opaque, faceted vintage glass buttons with pearly, lighter and darker tones; they glow. About 3/8" thick including the shank. Loop opening is around 1.5mm. Some of the shanks may be slightly shorter or longer as you can see; we assume because these buttons may have been made by hand. Vintage buttons in excellent condition. Probably from Europe? Age unknown. Beautiful color-play, like gemstone. Sold per button.
