Smooth, soft, light and thin, with a bit of sheen. Pure silk, yarn dyed woven, not a print; vivid oranges and gold with more subtle greens, light blue, brown, and a bit of black. It's a little crisp and not drapey at all. The cross dye with subtle slubs is beautiful. The reverse is similar; all the colors are the same but you can see the workings of the brocade/jacquard that create the 'fancy' in the 'ribbons'. 14" wide, sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition bolt. 100% Silk.
