Deep wine color is consistent and rich. The jacquard is strong and dimensional, with curvy lines and flowers within the spaces of the curves. The weave is similar to fukureori, a complex jacquard that creates an almost matelasse or embroidery effect with the front more dimensional than the back. But this one is not quite as deeply dimensional as most we see; the layers are a bit more subtle. Liquid drape, supple, light and flowy pure silk from Japan, this silk had a former life as pieces from a kimono, and has been disassembled for you to re-use. It's in beautiful condition. 100% Silk.
