From a co-op of textile artisans in India, with indigo color drifting into the white diamonds quite often, creating interesting lighter blue patterns. So, no two diamonds will match in size, shape, distance from the others, or color. Some of the shibori stripes are a bit wavy; in some areas they are more straight. The shibori artists have taken inspiration from wind-blown wavy patterns in the sand. Finely woven, thin and light, less than 3 ounces per 42" wide yard. It's only slightly drapey, and a little see-through, with no sheen and no slubs. In India this cotton/silk is often made into sarees, shawls, and scarves. They do not specify the percentages of silk and cotton, not surprising for India, but we're guessing 50/50.  It would also be wonderful for windows and beds, linings, all types of apparel and accessories. Limited supply one of a kind, hand dyed artisan fabric.  Rajasthan, India.  Dry clean.

Silk/Cotton, 42" wide and sold by the full yard. Your piece will be continuous.
