Wool "Tapestry", Italy, Warm Tones/Paisleys, One Yard Piece

Thin, soft and supple, a tapestry-like brocade. The design is in the weave - not a print - and it's gorgeous. Background is sandy light taupe, close to the color of undyed natural linen, and all the colors are muted yet lush, but not bright. Oranges, reds, gold, wines, pinks, peach, raisin, two greens, a touch of black.  Each art element is a different weave and most are a mix of colors, with the various weaves being integral in the final 'look' of the color. The pattern is not raised. This wool feels like challis, thin and soft with a subtle drape. Pure wool from Italy, this is all we have, it's a piece 42" wide and 1 yard long. Weight about 4 ounces. Never used, almost vintage designer end in perfect condition. Exceptional.
