Diamonds Block Print Cotton from India, Hand Printed, 1 Yard Piece #718

Sky blue and ochre on white, this print was made in India and has a Southwest look. The colors are light and calm, not bright or intense. This cotton is heavier than voile in weight, but not as heavy as quilting cotton - it's in between. A bit sheer and very soft.  Wonderful for all warm weather apparel, tables and accessories. Beautiful print created by hand using the traditional techniques of hand carved teak blocks, dipping each block for each color into its dye bath and hand stamping on to the fabric.  Limited supply artisan-created 100% cotton from India.

Some care for their cotton block prints by hand washing in cool water separately and drying in the shade. Others have had good success machine washing and drying, so test first and find what works for you and the particular fabric.
