LAST 2+ yards, Grey/Ice Blue/Cherries Kasuri Cotton Vintage Kimono Ikat By the Yard #190
The 'cherries' are red but blurry-edged and blended with the gray and ice-blue threads, so it's a softened true red, not at all towards pink or orange. The edges in some of them turn purply from the blue-gray. The large loops aren't white, they are pale ice blue. The cool gray is actually black cross-woven with pale blue. This kasuri kimono cotton is very soft, thin and lightweight. It's more supple than most Japanese cotton, may have some silk content, has a bit of body and a slight crispness. A true ikat, both sides are just the same. Soft and fabulous. Japan.
14.5" wide, in excellent condition. There are 2 yards plus 8" left, and you may order just one yard if you like. If you order 2, you'll get the entire 80" long piece, including 8 inches for no charge.
