A stunning print on pebbly-surfaced chirimen crepe silk. The colors seem to create their own light - the combination of deepest green and lots of yellow-green-gold we call Golden Olive, sepia and red somehow is magical. The yellow-green linework is very slightly blurred, which seems to make a backlit sun-glow. There is no true metallic gold, but it somehow seems that bright, yet with a matte finish. Drapey, flowy, pebble- textured silk crepe with a dry hand and no shine. Vintage kimono silk in perfect condition from its former life as a kimono. Japan.
