From Japan, woven cotton crepe, a unique modern Kasuri weave, in a melange of dark blues and white. They are pinstripes, in a way... woven with thicker and thinner, twisted, slubby cotton threads. The crepe texture is significant and adds drape, texture and suppleness. Slightly sheer, rich deep indigo blue abstract 'dotted' stripes from an innovative kasuri ikat weaver in Japan. It's 43" wide relaxed, with a bit of crinkle. It will 'stretch' to be about 45" wide. Stripes run the length, parallel to the selvedges.

100% Cotton. Newly woven, not vintage. Wash by itself; color may run especially at first. Cool water, hang to dry. Or test a piece in the machine(s) to check shrinkage and other changes; you may love the result.
