Charcoal, Dark Red/Blue Yarn-Dye Stripe, Vintage Japanese Kimono Fabric from Japan #262

Medium gray woven from fine black and cream threads, contrasted with black and red making dark red, and black and navy making dark navy.  Mid-lightweight and thin, we think it's either pure silk or a silk / wool blend.  It's a beautiful high end stripe, maybe not quite as soft as pure silk, or maybe a twisted-thread silk creating a subtle, less-smooth texture. It wrinkles and holds a crease like silk... perhaps it's hemp we're feeling, not wool?   It's the same front and back, 14" wide. Sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, excellent condition, never used bolt. Japan.
