Not bright red or towards orange at all; it's a blueish red, a bit towards dark pink / purple. An authentic block print hand dyed in India. 100% Cotton, medium lightweight, lighter than quilting cotton weight but heavier than mulmul or voile. It's tightly woven and soft, new not vintage. This is the end of this fabric, it's a piece 44" wide and 1-1/8 yards long.
Gently hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, and avoid soaking for too long. Hang to dry. Dyes may bleed at first.
