Re-Stocked, Pinks and Greens Semi-Rustic Woven Cotton from India By the Yard #CHL-928

Crosswise yarn-dyed abstract variegated 'stripes'.  This 100% cotton is technically an ikat - the warp is bright fuchsia and the weft is fuchsia, greens and purples. The moving 'stripes' vary in color and thickness. In some areas there's more or less of each color; the designs change quite a bit, and all are beautiful. Some areas have a more striped effect and other are more streaky, abstract or blurry.  The bright pink is calmed a bit by the green, but not muddied. This fabric is soft, quite smooth 100% cotton about the weight of quilting cotton.  When washed, the weave tightens a bit and softens even more. For quilting, shirts, tops, dresses, tunics, shorts, pants, vests, bedding, pillows, napkins, runners, etc. Handwash separately cold, no bleach, line dry, cool iron.
